Review + Empty // Laneige’s Clear-C Advanced Effector

Starting summer of with a review and empty of Laneige’s Clear-C Advanced Effector! I received this from my mother when she made a quick stop at Target. I believe she purchased this product from around $35-40 USD.

My first impression of this Vitamin C Skin Boosting Essence was that the packaging and bottle were SOO pretty. The bottle is a lightly tinted hue of a reddish pink while the cap is a rose gold that covers the actual pump that dispenses the product. The product comes with 150 ml or 5.0 fl oz and it lasted me around 3 months as I was constantly using this every night– around 2-3 pumps each use. I highly recommend using the rectangle/square cotton pads to evenly distribute the essence onto you skin and/or patting the product gently into your skin for proper absorption.

The essence has 92.5% of Superberry extract and is suited for all skin types. On the package it says that the product:

• delivers abundant antioxidants with acai berry and acerola extracts

• brightens and evens skin tone

• instantly hydrates and refreshes

• improves skin condition

My own opinion on the product is that there is a slightly mild scent to it, which is typical of most of Laneige’s products. I personally enjoy the mild scent of this essence and the consistency of the essence makes it particularly easy for the skin to absorb it. After the first week of using the essence, I could see that my skin was more radiant and refreshed before so it definitely helps with dull, uneven skin tones. If you enjoy layering on skincare or moisturizers in general, this is a great addition to your regime as it is very light but super hydrating. It’s a great pick-me-up for your skin!

My overall rating for the Clear-C Advanced Effector would be a 9.0 out of 10. I love the product but it isn’t entirely budget friendly– it is a mid-price range product though (~$35 USD)– so if you’re looking into investing into a great product, I would definately recommend this, but there are mroe inexpensive alternatives out there.
